Illinois, in 1847. He was married in Pittsfield, Illinois, on February
15, 1848. My father knew Isaac and Rachel, his grandparents, quite well,
and the family has recorded many notes of their early life in Indiana and
Illinois. Isaac and his wife lived to have their Golden Wedding
Celebration at Pittsfield, Illinois, in 1898. Most of their children and
grandchildren attended the 30day celebration in a golorious houseparty
and family reunion."He arrived on horseback from Indiana where he had resided for several
years.
